CFAN Corporation is a manufacturer of carbon fiber turbine blades for
jet aircraft engines, operating a 160,000 sqft. facility located between Austin and San Antonio
Texas. Their manufacturing process requires strictly controlled
temperatures, and cooling this enormous facility put their
energy costs through the roof so to speak.
They were contemplating the purchase and installation of additional HVAC units to help
combat the temperature control problem but that would only have resulted in even higher
energy costs. Instead, CFAN selected Dallas Urethane to install a new polyurethane roofing system
over their existing metal roof
to help them with these concerns.
Dallas Urethane installed their roofing system over the entire facility which resulted in not only
lowering their
energy costs but it also has provided them with
a leak free environment for years to come.
